Maha Shivaratri which is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honour of Lord Shiva. The festival is celebrated on the new moon day in the month of Maagha according to the Hindu calendar, marks Maha Shivaratri which means "the Great Night of Shiva"and people began worshipping Shiva with a great enthusiasm.
