She was born on April 30, 1985, in Petah Tikva, Israel. Before her acting career took off, Gadot served for two years in the Israel Defense 
Forces as a combat instructor. She gained international recognition when she was cast as Wonder Woman in the film "Batman v Superman: Dawn 
of Justice" (2016), directed by Zack Snyder.
