Muharram is a popular Muslim festival that falls in the first month of the Islamic calendar. This year Ashura is observed on August 19 as the date fluctuates every year as compared to the Gregorian calendar. It is the second holiest month after Ramadan and is believed to be one of the four sacred months of the year to celebrate and rejoice.
