Lefthanders International Day was created to raise awareness and celebrate sinistrality and to know the advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed in a predominantly right-handed world. It is created to celebrate left-handed people uniqueness and differences. This Day also spreads awareness on issues faced by left-handers, for e.g. the special needs importance for left-handed children, and the likelihood for left-handers to develop schizophrenia.
